This page treats coins, stamp sheets and form card of 47 prefectures program.

 60 years have passed since Local Government law Japan enforced and memorial items of each Japan prefecture have been released from Japan Mint and Japan Post - 1,000 yen colord silver coins and bimetal 500 yen coins from Japan Mint and stamp sheets from Japan post. Each item has a distinctive design of each prefeccture and is very good as collection items.
 The first release happened on 2008 and 33 prefectures items have been released as of Jan. 2014 and will have been relleased until 2016. I opened the web page of "47 Prefectures Program" and I will try update the information whenever I get the official anouncement.
