Local Government Act of Japan started 60 years ago and JAPAN 47 PREFECTURES COIN PROGRAM has been started in commemoration. In additon to publication of 1,000yen and 500 yen coin, the stamp sheet of each prefecture is to be published one by one as memorial stamps. SAITAMA stamp sheet is 37th release and contains five 82yen stamps.

Eiichi Shibusawa(1840-1931):He was born in FUKAYA city, Saitama. Business man representing Meiji Era and referred to as the father of Japanese capitalism.
TOKI-NO-KAME:Symbol clock tower of Kawagoe City. This tower was built during 1627-1634 at first. The current tower was built on Meiji Era.

Chichibu-Yomatsuri Festival is one of three major parade float festivals Japan. This festival is to be held on Dec. 2nd and 3rd. 6 floats - Important tangible folk cultural - parades in Chichibu city.
Kanki-in-Seitendo is the main buddhist sanctum of Seitenzan-Kankiin-Chorarakuji temple in Kumagaya city, Saitama. Kanki-in-Seitendo was built in 18th century and has been designated as National Treasure.
